Sheet-Pan Brownie Thins
Adjusted for ~¼ sheet pan
Ingredients
- ¼ cup butter (+ extra for greasing the pan)
- ½ cup sugar
- ⅜ cup cocoa powder
- ⅜ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ⅛ teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 cold large egg
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup finely chopped pecans
Method
- Preheat oven to 200°C
- Thoroughly butter rimmed ¼ sheet pan
- Melt butter
- Mix sugar, cocoa power & salt. Stir in butter
- Beat in egg
- Incorporate flour, beat a couple dozen times to aerate
- Stir in chopped pecans
- Pour onto sheet, and even out
- Bake 15-18 minutes
- Remove, cool, cut into squares
