Brownie Thins

Sheet-Pan Brownie Thins

Adjusted for ~¼ sheet pan

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup butter (+ extra for greasing the pan)
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ⅜ cup cocoa powder
  • ⅜ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ⅛ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cold large egg
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup finely chopped pecans

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C
  2. Thoroughly butter rimmed ¼ sheet pan
  3. Melt butter
  4. Mix sugar, cocoa power & salt. Stir in butter
  5. Beat in egg
  6. Incorporate flour, beat a couple dozen times to aerate
  7. Stir in chopped pecans
  8. Pour onto sheet, and even out
  9. Bake 15-18 minutes
  10. Remove, cool, cut into squares
